All Saints Day: Bring pictures of treasured or special people in your life who were and are your personal saints…You can place these on the communion table as you arrive for church or as you come to the table for viewing by all gathered.
Food Room Sunday: Bring non-perishable food items for donation to the Food Room to help those in the community in need of food. Special needs this month are cereal, peanut butter, Spam, crackers and chili. Leftover Halloween candy provides a sweet treat for clients. Large recyclable paper and plastic bags are also needed. This will be part of our offering today.
Adult Education in Fellowship Hall at 9:30 with the video series, The Bible Jesus Read, based on Philip Yancey’s book of the same title. Join us for great discussion and great (or, at least very good) coffee and tea. Our Sunday morning Adult Ed is, in so many ways, Hillcrest at its best! We have fun, we engage the deepest parts of our traditions—some well known, some not—and current challenges and opportunities (in our own lives and in the world at large).
Children’s Education will continue on the Upper Campus at 9:30 children will be in the Sanctuary for the first part of worship and will go the the Upper Campus for Church following the Children’s Moment.
