We all need an extra helping of love and care at different times of our lives. Whether you are new to Hillcrest and need someone to reach out and make you feel a part of the church community, you are recovering from surgery and need help with food or a ride to a doctor’s appointment, or you are grieving the loss of a loved one, the Hillcrest Care Ministry is there for you.
We are building up that “extra helping” by adding Greeters and Welcome volunteers to reach out to visitors and new members to help guide them to activities that may be of interest to them. Volunteers are also needed to provide rides to appointments, provide meals, or make visits to those members who cannot come to church regularly.
Every job, every task, and every act of love is a necessary part of the ministry of the church.” We are working on providing these extra helpings of care in a way that benefits us all. Let’s empower each of us to minister to one another as God calls us to do.
