Our Food Room
The Hillcrest Church Community Food Pantry (“the Food Pantry”) has been providing food to the community of Pleasant Hill and surrounding communities since the 1950’s. The Food Pantry is a partner agency of the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
Get Food From the Food Pantry
All residents of Contra Costa County and veterans and students, wherever their residence, are now able to receive a 3-day supply of food once per month at the Hillcrest Church Food Pantry.
The only person required to show identification is the person coming to the Food and Clothing Rooms needing food and clothing for themselves and possibly their family. No other identification is needed. All information is kept confidential.

Mobile Pantry Distribution Site
2nd and 4th Fridays from 2 – 3 p.m.
Hillcrest Church is a mobile distribution site for the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano county’s Mobile Pantry. Families and individuals can pick up FREE fresh produce, proteins, dairy and a variety of non-perishable food twice a month. The mobile food pantry is located in the Hillcrest Church parking lot. Christ the King – St. Vincent de Paul Food and Clothing Pantry
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 – 11:30 A.M. AND SATURDAYS FROM 10 A.M. – NOON.
Christ the King’s St. Vincent de Paul Food and Clothing Pantry is now serving our neighbors at Hillcrest Church. Check Christ the King’s website at https://www.ctkph.org/donations or call 925-246-1131 for more information.
Volunteer
The Food Pantry is staffed and managed by volunteer members and friends of Hillcrest Church. Our volunteers assemble food bags, stock shelves, and assist clients. It is not necessary to be a member of Hillcrest to volunteer. Contact us for further information.
Donations to the Food Room, Clothing Room, and Layette Program
Donations support this important program! Non-perishable food donations may be brought to the Food Room during open hours or to the Church Office during office hours. Monetary donations may be brought or mailed to the Church Office or given electronically. Clothing donations are accepted on Mondays between 9 – 11:30 a.m.
