Kidz Camp Donations

Dear Hillcrest Kidz Camp Parents:

On Thursday, July 30, we will learn how we can help others who are less fortunate than we are. All year long Hillcrest operates a Food and Clothing Room and a Layette program for residents of Central Contra Costa County. Below is a list of suggested donation items. We would appreciate your placing donated items for the three programs into one or more grocery bags with your child’s name on the outside. Please send the children with the donations on Monday. The children will deliver their donations to the various rooms on Thursday.

FOOD PANTRY

• Canned foods:
• Chicken noodle soup
• Corn
• Fruit cocktail
• Chili with beans
• Pork and Beans
• Spaghetti sauce
• Chili
• Tuna
• Breakfast cereal (small and large boxes)
• Jello
• Saltine crackers
• Peanut butter

 

CLOTHING ROOM (For adults and children)

• New or gently used clothing, shoes, bedding or towels.
• New underwear and socks

 

LAYETTE PROGRAM (For newborn – 18 months)

• New or gently used baby items for boys or girls:
  • Onesies Hooded towels
  • Bibs Teething rings
  • Board books Rattles
  • Sleep and Plays Socks or booties
  • Nighties
  • Socks or booties
