Hillcrest Kidz Camp 2014:
God, the Great Spirit, and the Circle of Life
August 4-8 from 9:00 to 12:00
Our summer camp is a great opportunity for
1) Summer fun, and
2) to expand your child(ren)’s awareness of our part in the circle of life on our planet.
We will read the Bible story of the creation of the earth and all nature, and we will also read several other creation stories that focus on God’s point of view and on the animals’ point of view, as these stories make us less the center of the story and more a part of the cycle of life.
We will center our activities each day on the creation; caring for the earth, plants, and trees; caring for the lakes, rivers, and oceans; caring for the animals; and caring for ourselves and all of God’s children.
We will include singing, dancing, arts and crafts, games, contributing to the Food and Clothing and Layette Programs, and a fieldtrip to Pleasant Hill Park.
The fee is $40 for the first child in a family/$30 for others in family if you register by July 15th.
After July 15th, the fee is $50 for first child and $40 for others in same family.
