Luke 1: 26-38 tells of the coming birth of Jesus to an unexpectedly now-expecting young lady. The message that she would bear a son out of wedlock could have doomed her circumstances.
When things that seem irreparable happen in our lives, how can we turn perceived doom into a faithful opportunity for rebirth?
How does “taking in the body of Christ”—which is what we do in communion—transform us?
