After long discussions and then recommendations by the Worship-Music Ministry and further discussion by the Hillcrest Council at their October 12, 2021 meeting, the decision was made to require vaccinations and masking for in-person worship in the sanctuary beginning November 7, 2021. The decision was made on the basis of our commitment to protecting those who worship inside buildings at Hillcrest. We are cognizant that this requirement may make our worship seem less “Extravagantly Welcome” to all, but we must keep our church community as safe as possible during what remains of the COVID pandemic as we move worship and other related activities indoors.
