Last month Hillcrest Church fed the families in the Winter Nights program for one week. This is Hillcrest’s 15th year of being part of this program. Big thank you’s go to Carolyn Smith for the delicious turkey dinner, Carolyn MacKenzie for the chili dinner and Bob Sartin for being there in the evening to serve and clean up. A special thank you to Zio Fraedo’s for the Continental Cuisine meal that they donated, complete with spaghetti for the children. All of this would not have happened without Angie Beal coordinating and planning on site each day, until the evening dishes were cleaned and put away. This is Hillcrest UCC Church at its best demonstrating our commitment to our community.
