Suggestions for Making Someone’s Day
Place this information somewhere where you will see it every day and remember to keep your eye out for opportunities to perform random acts of kindness.
Some ideas are:
- pay for the person behind you at a drive-through eatery or toll booth
- volunteer at a local non-profit
- look for opportunities to carry bags, groceries, etc. for someone needing help
- call or send a hand-written card to someone “just ‘cuz”
Generous God,
I give you thanks for your everyday mercies.
Open my eyes to the light of possibilities,
even when the day ahead hold difficulties.
Be with me, near me, beside me.
