Hosanna! It’s Palm Sunday yet again, and with it the beginning of Holy Week, the week leading up to Easter Sunday. In our annual re-living of Christ’s death and resurrection, Palm Sunday is the beginning of the end. The early high point before the deep tragedy of Christ’s betrayal and crucifixion, and eventually, the climactic joy of His resurrection. This year, for Lent we are asking “what are you up to” and our theme for Palm Sunday will be “Sit up.” And truly, it was Christ’s entry into Jerusalem that made people sit up and take notice. Both Christ’s followers and the authorities who would ultimately sentence Him to death. I hope you’ll join us this Sunday for worship, fellowship and celebration
