Good Friday Community Meal & Tenebrae Service – Friday, March 29th
Meal in the Fellowship Hall | 5:30 p.m. followed by our, “Journey to the
Cross Service” at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Please sign up to bring a dish by calling the church office at 925-689-8260.
As was done in the Early Church, we will come together at a common table to break
bread and have fellowship. Readings from The Gospel of John will follow the meal.
Following the Community Meal, we will follow in silence as candle bearers lead us on a
short pilgrimage past the sites of Jesus’ final hours and into the sanctuary for the
Tenebrae service.
