DONATIONS TO AID REFUGEES FROM UKRAINE AND OTHER WAR-TORN COUNTRIES

Ukrainian Crisis

Many have asked how they can aid Ukrainian Refugees. Others have expressed concern for refugees from war-torn countries around the world. The United Church of Christ provides opportunities to give directly to Ukraine relief and also to relieve the plight of refugees and asylum seekers on a global level.

Below is information about two opportunities to donate. When you click on the link, you should then scroll down to the Donate button specific to that cause (not the Donate button on the top right of the screen).

  • The UCC Ukraine Relief Fund provides shelter, food, and other care to war refugees and internally displaced people. It also will help refugees and asylum seekers from African, Middle Eastern and other countries who had sought refuge in Ukraine and now are twice displaced, as well as other citizens of more than 125 countries living in Ukraine.
  • The Refugee Emergency Fund allows the United Church of Christ to welcome the stranger in times of emergency and to live out its deep history of commitment to loving our neighbor, and creating a just world for all. This fund supports resettlement, and refugee emergency needs.

Please note you can donate online OR send a check to made out to Hillcrest Congregational Church, UCC, with the relief fund of your choice in the memo line. Checks should be sent to:
