Using the new book, Advent in Plain Sight: A Devotion through Ten Objects by Jill J. Duffield, we will explore biblical texts and traditions some of which typically come up at this time of year, several of which do not. What do Advent (and by extension Christmas and Epiphany) and the particular texts and objects we’ll be engaging have to say to us and our lives today?
