The 76th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bombs on August 6 and 9 is upon us, and our world continues to be threatened by these weapons.
Carolyn Mac Kenzie, an active Hillcrest member, worked with the United Religions Initiative to produce short films for adults and children promoting a World Free of Nuclear Weapons. These films were shown following worship on August 1st with interesting and lively discussion following.
